OLD LIONS STILL ROAR….NEW THEATER WILL NOT BORE…..THIS POST WON’T MAKE YOU SNORE…..READ AND LOOK AND LISTEN EVEN MORE..
Angel Scene USA is the Theater Division of Old Lions Still Roar Inc. and it develops and seeks to produce the Musical Plays, Musicals and Plays created in-house by A.Michael Storm and his various collaborating Composers. Current Shows in development include: SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS, a Musical, which we hope to open soon either Regionally or Off Broadway in NYC; UNSEEN ANGELS, a Musical Play, which we intend to develop and open in London first before possibly transferring it to New York; TWILIGHT TIME, a Musical Play, which is the second part of the Stage Door Ghosts Trilogy (along with UNSEEN ANGELS) which we intend to also develop in London and open after UNSEN ANGELS run is completed; and ONCE UPON A TIME, and Epic Musical, which we are in early development for and which we also intend to develop and open first in London before the possible New York debut. Losing The Music!!
We have lost two very different, yet both very important figures in the Music and Entertainment Business. Mary Rodgers Guettel, the writer / Composer who was also the Daughter of the great Richard Rodgers and Mother of Composer / Lyricist Adam Guettel. She was Broadway famous for Composing the Music for Shows such as ONCE UPON MATTRESS, FROM A to Z, HOT SPOT and THE MAD WOMAN OF CENTRAL PARK WEST. She was Children’s Books famous for such Books as FREAKY FRIDAY, A BILLION FOR BORIS, and THE ROTTEN BOOK. She also wrote the Screenplay for FREAKY FRIDAY. She was Director of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization and was a member of the Board of ASCAP. She was 83
Bobby Womack, legendary Soul Singer / Songwriter has also passed from the scene. He wrote and originally recorded what would be come the first big Hit for The Rolling Stones, “It’s All Over Now” and New Births “I Can Understand It”. His Hits as a Singer included, “Lookin’ For A Love”, “That’s The Way I Feel About Cha”, and “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2009. He was 70.
As so many lately, gone are these two greats. Different in their styles and content, but similar in the fact that they both
entertained us quite well and for quite sometime! RIP!!

INTRODUCING THE MUSIC OF FERDINAND RENNIE TO A WAITING U.S. AUDIENCE!!
After Several releases on the German airplay charts and leading roles in Musicals such as LES MISERABLES, singer, actor and songwriter Ferdinand Rennie has released his latest Song “I Will Love Again” and the Video which accompanies it! It is a mix of Pop/Dance grooves with BPM128.
But, who is Ferdinand Rennie? This may be a good question especially for the U.S. audience which has had little exposure to this “FAB” talent. Ferdinand grew up in Deutschlandsberg, Austria but has lived the last several years in the west coast of Scotland where he worked as a singer, actor, and songwriter. He now moves between there and his second home near Frankfurt, Germany. His music career has had many highlights including lead roles in Musicals such as: TABALUGA AND LILI, LES MISERABLES, ELISABETH, SIXTY SIXTY, AHOY-THE SEAMAN’S REVUE, FIFTY FIFTY, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. He has had several Releases of his Sound Recordings such as : REST YOUR LOVE ON ME and BARCAROLE VOM ABSCHIED (ARIOLA) and WENN ICH TRAEUME (FABSCOTS LTD.) and BRING HIM HOME from LES MISERABLES, a Duet with Leon van Leeuwenberg (FABSCOTS LTD.). After an inspiring journey and his relocation to mystical Scotland, Ferdinand began work in 2008 on his album LIEBE TRAEGT DICH UEBER JEDEN OZEAN which was successfully released in 2010. Surely then, it was fate that he met Rosemarie Gura, a gifted composer/writer from Austria who inspired him, through her powerful lyrics and her strength of writing, to go back to the recording studio to produce and perform seven (7) tracks from her work. Other songs on this album which meant so much to him were: LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING from Andrew Lloyd-Webber, WHO I WAS BORN TO BE and EVERY FLOWER NEEDS THE SUNSHINE, the haunting melody from the successful Swedish Film AS IN HEAVEN, where Ferdinand rewrote the lyrics in both English and German. This impressive album reflects Ferdinand’s life in many ways. Lyrics and melodies that accompany him in his daily life which are the result of situations and emotions to which everyone can relate: JOY, HOPE, LOSS, DISAPPOINTMENT, VITALITY, FRIENDSHIP, and LOVE! This album will touch you deeply! Now his music has began to reach people all round the world (over 46,000 LIKES on facebook and more than 700,000 VIEWS on his FERDINANDRENNIE1 You Tube Channel). He reached the German Airplay Charts in 2012 with his release ALLES LIEBE ODER WAS?, and he also released four(4) wonderful Christmas songs: IT’S A WHITE CHRISTMAS ALL OVER THE WORLD, STILLE NACHT, HEILIGE NACHT, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and SILENT NIGHT, HOLY NIGHT. He also proudly produced, recorded and sang the song DRYING LITTLE TEARS for the REGINE SIXT CHILDREN’S AID FOUNDATION. His single release, I LOOK TO THE HORIZON/ NACHTS HOER ICH DICH LEISE WEINEN was especially written for Ferdinand by top Swedish writers Edbeger/Antblad. After the successful, worldwide releases of THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING, SUMMER ROSES AND WINE and WAITING IN THE WINGS, and, in Germany, the single DIE NAECHSTE FRAU MUSS SO SEIN WIE DU, two new albums were released in 2013: the Engish album I WANNA WAKE UP WITH YOU and the German album SAG NIEMANLS NIE. The NEW single release WENN DIE SEHNSUCHT BRENNT, German version of Lara fabian’s I WILL LOVE AGAIN is out for dowload also. Ferdinand perfprmed this song on the TV Show IMMER WIEDER SONNTAGS(to an audience of around 2 million people). I September 2013 he released the Austiran/Bavarian Countrysong MY JODL LADY in bot German and English versions. In October 2013 the German release LEISE KLINGT DAS LIED DER SEHNSUCHT came about. Ferdinand Rennie may not be a name instantly recognized here in the U.S., but check out his version of Leonard Cohen’s HALLELUJAH and his latest offering, hsi 2014 release of I WILL LOVE AGAIN, and you will never forget him! I am confident FERDINAND RENNIE will soon make a BIG IMPACT on the U.S. Market also! Keep an eye/ear on him!!
