And Good Late Saturday Night all you Old Lions Still Roar Blog Watchers on this next to last night of JUNE 2013!! Yes this is the 29th of June 2013 and this is A. Michael Storm coming at you from somewhat HUMID Southwest Florida at fifteen minutes before Midnight. I come bearing a new Video this evening. I felt I needed to make a NEW Video so I DID!!  It is a Video in honor of the milestones we have achieved here at Old Lions Still Roar creatively over these last several years. All the Musicals, Musical Plays and Plays we have created and brought to life; all the great Theater we are Developing and which we are about to bring forth for the world to enjoy!! If you are pondering the TITLE of tonight’s Blog, it refers to a few of the songs from one of the Musicals referred to in the Video THAT Musical is ONE HIT WONDER and is part “Juke Box” Musical and part Original Music Musical and you will recognize many of the HIT SONGS which were “one hit wonders” for some folks back in the day. Good Late Night Friday Night, This June 28th in the year 2013. This is A. Michael Storm coming at you from Southwest Florida on a reasonably calm evening despite the fact that some folks have already begun shooting fireworks this early before the Fourth of July. There were several booms and bangs earlier which in some neighborhoods might be mistaken for gunfire but around here we know it’s just folks displaying their LOUD pride every time there is a reason to shoot fireworks. And YES, in Florida you can legally do that! The Fourth of July is just one of the times during the year when we can expect to be “treated” to the LOUD expressions of JOY! And tonight they have started almost a week early. ODE TO JOY!!! It drives the dogs NUTS!!

Sorry I have been absent from the Blog of late but I have been VERY busy working on LOTS of things around Old Lions Still Roar and you will see the results of all that work very soon!! Emmitt Thrower has also been VERY busy working along with me on Projects. We are gearing up for a very important Project and you will SOON know all about that Project as it will be announced here and on the Web Site and just about anywhere we can announce it! It does have lots to do with the following:
Old Lions Still Roar Incorporated, Very Special Saturday Stage Door Ghosts Combine Partners Limited Liability Company, Stage Door Fancies Series Limited Liability Company, SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS-The Musical, UNSEEN ANGELS-The Musical Play, Southwest Florida, New York City, Off Broadway, And SO MUCH MORE!! And did I hear you say OPPORTUNITY??? Did I hear you say you heard it knocking?????? Well yes you just may have heard it cause we have OPPORTUNITY my friends….right here in Southwest Florida…..With a capital O and that rhymes with GROW and that’s what we’re doin’ at Old Lions Still Roar don’t you know….that’s OPPORTUNITY my friends…right here in Southwest Florida….with a capital O and that rhymes with SHOW and that’s what we know and a way we go for OPPORTUNITY my friends……..No offense intended to Meredith Wilson. So much for song and dance…..message later!!

And yes a few rolled through this day and rolled out just as fast, leaving rain and not much else this time. We are moving forward with all our work here at Old Lions Still Roar Incorporated and Angels Scene USA. SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS Development is heating up and more people will be coming on board soon with our crew. UNSEEN ANGELS is also beginning to get underway. Talking with potential Designers this evening. Constantly working the Stories and The Music and the People and the angles and the ETC……most especially the ETC……We are still waiting for a few good Working Producing Partners to step forward both Here in Southwest Florida and in The New York City Area to join us and help Produce some GREAT Theater!! We know you are out there I can hear you breathing!! I can feel your heartbeats racing every time I mention Theater!! I know you are there, you just keep hesitating to take the plunge!! Good late Night Wednesday Night All You Old Lions Blog Watchers! This is A. Michael Storm coming at you after being absent for a couple of days, and after the storms of late! Coming tonight to speak of several things, some happy, some sad, some good , some bad. It’s a VERY Storywizard kind of Blog this night because a Storywizard brings the story no matter where that story takes you! Once again someone who has been touched by my life has passed on. Slim Whitman, country /Western Singer and Yodler who sold millions of records by marketing them on TV, and who was always far more popular Internationally than here in this Country passed on today at age 90. He lived here in Florida for many years. Years ago it was his people who had bought my Scorpian Record Label. He had a long career and an even longer life. Rest well Slim! We also lost James Gandolfini Today. The fine Actor who portrayed Tony Soprano  as well as many other roles died suddenly in Italy while there to take part in a Film Festival. He was only 51. We never know how many years we are given in this life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his Family and friends!

On the subject of UNSEEN ANGELS, there is some Extra Special news. The song I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN YOU A LOVE SONG has been chosen to be recorded by an International recording Artist and will soon be going into the studio to be done by him. I will leave the Official announcement for later. Let’s just say that he has a GREAT voice and a strong fan base in Europe and other areas of the World!!

Good Saturday VERY late night, almost Midnight, the night before Father’s Day. This is A. Michael Storm coming at you from Southwest Florida on Father’s Day Eve to wish all you Old Lions a Happy Father’s Day!! I just received my first EARLY Father’s Day card a few moments ago from my youngest Son Christian even though he is on Summer vacation visiting his Sister in Nevada. His Mom made sure I got a “cute” card which made my night. It’s things like that which make the World go round you know! So Happy Father’s Day to my partners Emmitt Houston Thrower up in New York City and Thomas Lee Horner up in Ringgold Georgia, hope you guys enjoy your Days!! I also want to say Happy Father’s Day to my oldest Son Andrew Thomas Duke in Up State New York, the Father of my Grand Son James, Happy Father’s Day Tom!! Finally, in memory, on this Father’s Day I want to say Happy Father’s day to my Father Andrew Thomas Duke who passed on 41 years ago this month. I still miss him and at times I still see his face and hear his voice! Also I want to say Happy Father’s Day to Joe Gemelli, Christian and Shelia’s Grand Father and Brenda’s Father who passed last year. This will be our first Father’s Day without him so Happy Father’s Day Joe, we miss you!!

I am not going to get into a lot of Old Lions Still Roar business this Night. There will be lots of nights for that! I will simply remind you all to keep checking out our Blog and our Web Site!! Check out our Facebook page at:

Good Friday Night to all you Old Lions Still Roar Blog Watchers! This is A. Michael Storm coming at you from Southwest Florida on this Friday night and no it is NOT a  Friday night FRIGHT!! It has been a couple of days since we have gotten together here on the Blog and I am truly sorry for that, but I have been very busy trying to make MAGIC happen. So I do hope you will forgive me this time! I said last time that I would leave this Blog’s topic as a surprise and I did. TONIGHT we will talk about the second HOT BUTTON Development coming from Old Lions Still Roar and Angel Scene USA and that is UNSEEN ANGELS!!

Hopefully you have seen the Video here on this Blog and on the Web Site about UNSEEN ANGELS and perhaps have read a bit about the Show on the Web Site. I am not yet to the point of declaring our Director as yet but I can tell you lots about some of our other people. Of course there is ME, I wrote the Book for Musical and the Lyrics and my UK Composing partner Andy Chesterton wrote the Music. I should say that Andy wrote the WONDERFUL music. If you go to the UNSEEN ANGELS page on our Web Site you can HEAR some demos of the MUSIC from UNSEEN ANGELS as performed by Andy and if you run across BITTERSWEET LULLABY you can hear the fabulous performance by Kendra Masonchuck.
Also Florian Siro is our Musical Director and Emmitt Thrower is our Executive Producer. I am Producing this Show also along with Obediah Wright and Thomas Lee Horner. We plan on doing our early Development here in Southwest Florida then transferring the Development to London where we will complete the Development process and then plan to open the Show in the West End of London first. We of course would hope that the Show would be successful enough to DEMAND that we transfer it eventually to New York and to Broadway. But that is a long road and we are just at the very beginning of it!
There will be many more NEW and exciting things to come about UNSEEN ANGELS in the future and I will be sure to keep you posted on ALL of them. For now, check out the Video and all the Music Demo Videos we have on the Web Site from the Show. Check out the Synopsis and get a peek!! 
Of course UNSEEN ANGELS is also from the VERY SPECIAL SATURDAY STAGE DOOR GHOSTS COMBINE PARTNERS LLC group of Projects as is SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS. UNSEEN ANGELS is also a part of a Trilogy of Musical Plays which Andy Chesterton and I are writing together. It is the First in the line of Three. We have also completed the second of the three, TWILIGHT TIME which also has some Demo Video Music on the Web Site. But that is a story for another time. The third Project in the Trilogy is HOLY GHOSTS which we are yet to complete work on. The Trilogy is called the Stage Door Ghosts Trilogy, hence the name of the LLC in part.
So, as you can see, things are just BUZZING all round Old Lions Still Roar!! Or should I say ROARING?? So keep coming back to check out our Blog and our web Site, you NEVER know what you might find!! But he always enjoys his work and teaching. His efforts in bringing SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIALS our current Hot Button development project to joyous fruition is only the beginning of discovering the secrets behind this creative genius. Good Late Night All You Old Lions Still Roar Blog Watchers/Readers/Listeners/Lookers! It’s A. Michael Storm coming at you from Southwest Florida after our earlier STORM. Lots of rain and wind and thunder and rain oh my! Things blowing around and the sky all dark! Just another June afternoon in Southwest Florida. But it’s over now and things are calm for now until the next STORM. And here we are to talk about PRODUCING PARTNERS as I said we would.

Yes we truly would LOVE to find a few good men and women who would TRULY LOVE to join us in our quest to make GREAT Theater! We would LOVE to find at least one or two in the New York City area and at least two or three in the Southwest Florida area. SO YOU WANT TO BE A BROADWAY PRODUCER????? What, you may ask, are the qualifications to do this job?? What are we looking for in these “Producing Partners” we keep talking about?? Let’s break it down!
(1) Do we want them to invest in our Company? The short answer is YES! But the LONG answer is more complicated than that. Everyone who is involved in Old Lions Still Roar Incorporated has INVESTED LOTS into this Company, not just Money, but time and energy and intellectual property and much more. So join the club. But we are not looking for these Producing Partners to Invest LOTS of money, very little in fact! What MONEY a Producing Partner Invests is up to them for the most part and would never be that much at all because THAT is not what we are seeking in a Producing Partner,so do not let MONEY frighten you away!
(2) Do we want them to invest TIME and ENERGY in the Company? The short and LONG answers are both YES you had better bet we want all the TIME and ENERGY and DESIRE and BLOOD and SWEAT and TEARS and COMMITMENT and LOVE FOR THEATER that you can muster. We want people who are willing and ready to throw themselves headlong into the fray which is the business of creating/developing/producing theatrical projects and all the wild circus which revolves around it!
(3) Do we want them to bring other people on board as INVESTORS? YESSSSSSSSSS!! If they have connections it is a BIG PLUS for sure and if they can help raise funds from INVESTORS for Developing and Producing Theater it is a BIG PLUS because THAT is one of the BIG things a Producer does!
(4) Do we want them to LOVE Theater? DUH!! If they do not LOVE THEATER they are LOST! Because Theater is the WHOLE REASON that we do what we do! If you do not get that thrill when you walk into a Theater; if the ghosts of all the actors who have played there do not whisper to you when you take your seat; if you do not get that little chill when the curtain goes up, then you may not have what it takes. Producing is NOT about making money, it is about making GREAT Theater!
(5) Do we want them to care as much about what we are doing as we do? POSITIVELY!! If you can get a charge out of working with some of the most talented people creating Theater today? If you can get into working with Writers, Directors, Composers, Musical Directors, etc. who are focused on creating GREAT Theater and FRESH NEW THEATER, then THIS is where you want to be!
So, let’s recap, do you LOVE THEATER?? Can you work hard and give time and energy and commitment? Do you have connections that may bring others in to invest or be able to lead others to help?? Can you bring at least a little money in yourself (a little which you decide)?? And will you care as much as we do about what we are doing and THROW YOURSELF INTO THE FRAY??? If you have answered YES, YES , YES, YES…..then you just MIGHT be then ones we seek….so contact us and lets get together and see what we can do!!
